The lapwing and black-tailed godwit populations in the Dümmer lowlands (Ochsenmoor) are among the most important inland populations in Lower Saxony. Together with the Natur- und Umweltschutzverein Dümmer e.V. (NUVD), BIOCONSULT Osnabrück and the Lower Saxony State Agency for Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation (NLWKN), chicks of wet grassland-dwelling limicolous species have been studied here using the tRackIT system since 2023.
